Itinerary
- Day 1 – Welcome to Toronto:
Canada’s multi-cultural metropolis of Toronto launches your journey across Eastern Canada. Relax after your journey, then meet your Travel Director and fellow travellers for dinner this evening. - Day 2 – Toronto:
The day begins unlocking the best of Toronto with an orientation tour past the sprawling Queens Park, entertainment district of Dundas Square, stately University Avenue and the Provincial Parliament Buildings. After lunch at leisure, you can choose to visit the Royal Ontario Museum to explore remarkable art and culture collections all housed within one of the city’s most striking landmarks. In the afternoon, consider joining an Optional Experience to CN Tower for panoramic views across Toronto. Dare to walk on air on the famous Glass Floor at 342 meters (1,122 feet), which includes an outdoor Sky Terrace. - Day 3 – Travel on to Niagara Falls:
On the way to Niagara Falls, you have the chance to learn the art of playing the puck like a pro. Embrace Canada’s national sport, learning the secrets and superstitions of hockey players as a professional coach walks you through a day in the life of a player. Go inside the players’ dressing room and put on full hockey gear, then grab your stick and it’s onto the ice where you’ll learn how to score the big goal. Sample some of Niagara’s regional cuisine paired with a delicious vintage over a Be My Guest experience at Ravine Winery. Embark on an exhilarating boat ride to the base of Horseshoe Falls, which plunges dramatically into Lake Ontario. Later, you have the option of joining a helicopter flight before overnighting at Niagara Falls with plenty of time to take in the area’s natural beauty. - Day 4 – Journey to Kingston and Ottawa:
Leave the cascades of Niagara Falls behind and travel east through Ontario’s lake country. Stop in Kingston, once the capital of Canada and now a city known for its limestone buildings and military history. Explore at your own pace or choose to join an Optional Experience – a narrated cruise through Kingston Harbour. Continue to Ottawa, the nation’s capital, and your stay for the next two nights. - Day 5 – Ottawa:
Enjoy a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience at Mādahòkì Farm, including a guided tour of the indigenous displays introducing the diversity of history and indigenous cultures across Canada and the Friendship dance. Arriving in Ottawa, embark on an introductory tour of Canada’s capital. You’ll have a full afternoon to discover the city on your terms. Consider joining an optional cruise on the Ottawa River or taking in the “Oh Canada Eh? Dinner Show” to unlock the famous stories and people of Canada. Or, explore on your own with a visit to one of the city’s museums or discover the range of amazing local cuisine. - Day 6 – Travel to Québec City:
See how the cuisine of Canada is in a league of its own. At Chez Dany, the sticky, rich flavours of Canada’s traditional maple syrup will linger long after your lunch at a local “Cabane à sucre” (Sugar Shack). After feasting on favourites such as ham, bacon, sausages, baked beans, scrambled eggs, pancakes and sugar pie, continue to Québec City to begin your love affair with the city’s French Canadian ‘joie de vivre’ and your hotel in Old Québec. Tonight’s Stays with Stories overnight finds you at the Clarendon Hotel. Inaugurated in 1870, the hotel is filled with heritage and memories, offering a distinctive historic experience. - Day 7 – Enjoy Québec City:
Embark on a captivating tour through the narrow streets of Old Québec, joining your Local Specialist for an in-depth discovery of this UNESCO-listed place exuding all the charm of a European city. Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring La Vieille Capitale on your terms. - Day 8 – Discover Vibrant Montréal:
Get ready to live the good life as you arrive in Montréal where your Local Specialist introduces you to the pleasures of the city. Visit modern downtown Montreal, the colourful port area and Place Jacques-Cartier, with your Local Specialist. Then discover the history of Notre-Dame, the first neo-Gothic church in Canada. It stands as a foundational part of Montréal, with breath-taking architecture, gold leaves, thousands of stars and exceptional stained-glass windows. After unlocking the heart of the city, join your fellow travellers for dinner in Old Montréal. - Day 9 – Farewell Toronto:
Bid farewell to your Travel Director and fellow travellers. Depart at leisure from Montreal or take a transfer to Toronto airport.
