Day 1 – Norfolk Island, Australia
Arrive in Norfolk Island and transfer to your accommodation, where your car rental will be available for collection at the property. The evening is at leisure.
Day 2 – Norfolk Island, Australia
Enjoy the Island Life Tour and spend the morning exploring Norfolk Island, gaining a true insight into the intricate nature of modern island life. Your guide will share the latest information on the island’s ethnic groups, nationalities and languages, including the Norfolk Island indigenous language. The tour concludes with lunch at the Boatshed Restaurant at Governor’s Lodge Hotel.
Make your way to the hotel where you will meet your Island Host for the week. Your host will join you for group dinners during your stay and will be able to answer any questions you have about the island.
Day 3 – Norfolk Island, Australia
Enjoy a free morning before making your way to Hilli Restaurant for lunch. Hilli means to kick back or relax, and you’ll certainly do that in the lovely garden setting at this restaurant.

Make your way to Two Chimneys Winery at lunchtime for a delicious degustation-style wine tasting with matching food delights. The formal wine tasting includes wines from the Premium Wine Collection, matched with an amazing collection of Noelene’s homemade delicacies, including produce from the garden.
Day 5 – Norfolk Island, Australia – Happy Thanksgiving
Celebrate Thanksgiving Day on Norfolk Island, the only place in the Southern Hemisphere to celebrate this tradition. A legacy of the island’s Pitcairn heritage and American whaling ships, the day includes church services, a traditional island lunch and local celebrations.
See the church decorated with generous displays of fruit and vegetables, which will be auctioned afterwards with proceeds going to charity. Continue to a traditional island lunch and sample Norfolk wetls (island dishes), including hot and cold meats, salads and delicious desserts, including mouth-watering local pies. Enjoy a glass of champagne and live entertainment before returning to your hotel mid-afternoon.

Enjoy a day at leisure and explore Norfolk Island at your own pace. Early this afternoon, make your way to Bailey’s Restaurant at Governor’s Lodge for their wonderful Tea Party. Relax with a glass of sparkling wine on arrival and enjoy a selection of sweet and savoury delights, tea or coffee, mini-scones, finger sandwiches, hot and cold savouries and delicious delicacies.
Tonight is an Island Feast, showcasing culinary delights that are a treasured inheritance from Norfolk Island’s Tahitian foremothers. Discover traditional cooking methods from the dirt ovens of Tahiti, known as “ahima’a”, and follow the journey of these dishes as they were transformed by the Pitcairn Islanders. Experience how the island community continues to achieve true “zero food miles”, where paddock to plate is a way of life. This is more than a meal – it’s a dining experience steeped in history, culture and local flavours.
Day 7 – Norfolk Island, Australia
Enjoy a champagne breakfast by the bay at beautiful Emily Bay, announced as the 3rd best beach in Australia for 2025. Take the opportunity to swim in the bay while you’re there.

The Crest Apartments: Stay in a spacious, self-contained one-bedroom apartment with a separate lounge and bedroom, plus a fully equipped kitchen featuring a full-size stove and microwave. Your time on Norfolk is yours to enjoy independently with the added benefit of several tours and functions included for you to enjoy with like-minded travellers who are on the Island for the same event. There is no tour host for this event. A rental vehicle is included to give you the flexibility to reach meeting points for each activity at the designated times.
