Discover some of the treasures of South Australia before you embark on an unforgettable cruise along the marvellous Murray River. Your adventure begins in Adelaide, the City of Churches and one of the world’s most liveable cities. A full day tour takes you to South Australia’s premium wine region, where you’ll sample some of the Barossa Valley’s finest wines.

You’ll then take a ferry to Kangaroo Island, offering nature-based activities, and encounters with koalas, birds of prey, and kangaroos. You’ll then embark on the PS Murray Princess for an unforgettable three-night cruise along the beautiful Murray River. Wind through the serene waters between Walker Flat and Murray Bridge as you drink in the spectacular riverlands, admiring the views of the ever-changing flora and fauna.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Adelaide: Hotel Stay

Spend a night in South Australia’s cosmopolitan capital with its major arts institutions, entertainment venues and 29 large public parks.

Day 2 – Adelaide: Hotel Stay & Tour

Embark on a tour of the Barossa Valley, South Australia’s premium wine region, visiting Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre and Hahndorf, Adelaide’s oldest German settlement.

Day 3 – Kangaroo Island: Hotel Stay & Tour

Ferry to Kangaroo Island, visit Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery and Clifford’s Honey Farm, then enjoy a guided beach walk at Seal Bay Conservation Park.

Day 4 – Kangaroo Island: Tour & Adelaide Hotel Stay

Visit Flinders Chase National Park, enjoy lunch at Vivonne Bay Lodge, then visit Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park before returning to Adelaide.

Day 5 – Mannum: Embark Ship

Transfer to Mannum Wharf to embark the PS Murray Princess for a cruise along the Murray River.

Day 6 – Murray Bridge

Guided tour of Murray Bridge and the historic Roundhouse, followed by a presentation of Riverland food and wine as you journey to Salt Bush Flat.

Day 7 – Piggy Flat

Nature walk around Salt Bush Flat, wildlife tour at River View Lodge, and Captain’s Dinner and Dance on board.

Day 8 – Adelaide: Disembark & Fly Home

Disembark the ship and transfer to the airport for your flight home.
